Did you know that Glacier National Park is special, even in the winter? Most of the Park’s two million annual visitors think it’s closed when many of the roads shut down, however a winter wonderland awaits.

One of the great ways to see the Park during this time of year is to put on some cross-country skis or snowshoes and head on out. Numerous waterfowl can be seen on Lake McDonald, chickadees can be seen and heard flitting about overhead and the iconic towering peaks turn pinks and purple as the winter sun sets early.

If you don’t know where to go or don’t have anyone to go with, you should come with us! Each Friday from the beginning of February to the end of March, we head on into the Park and would love to have you join us. Feel free to contact us at 406-892-3250 to find out where we are meeting and what time.
