The Great Fish Community Challenge, a local fundraising initiative sponsored by the Whitefish Community Foundation, kicks off July 30! The Glacier Conservancy is thrilled to be participating in the challenge once again.
This year, your donations to the Great Fish Community Challenge will support a new collaboration between the Center for Sustainability and Entrepreneurship at Whitefish Schools and Glacier National Park’s Native Plant Nursery, creating internship opportunities focused on conservation and education in Glacier for high school students and recent graduates.
Cultivate The Next Generation of Park Stewards
By donating to the Glacier Conservancy in this year’s Great Fish Community Challenge, you’ll make a real difference in young adults’ lives and cultivate the next generation of park stewards.
Your support will provide an internship for a Whitefish Public School student and park staff support to share native plant knowledge. Your donations will also fund additional internships focused on conservation and education in Glacier, providing opportunities for high school students and recent graduates in our community.
Celebrate The Challenge Kickoff
Donate on Thursday, July 30 before 2:00PM MT to celebrate the launch of the challenge, and your donations will be entered to win additional incentive grants for the Glacier Conservancy! All donations of $25 or more will be entered to win additional matching gifts on top of your donations. Whitefish Community Foundation will be awarding $25, $50, and even $100 in matching gifts all day. Up to $2,000 will be given away.
You can also join our Executive Director LIVE at 12:50PM MT on Whitefish Community Foundation’s live stream on Thursday to learn more about how your donations will make a big impact.
