I grew up in the Flathead Valley and spent many a summer day hiking the trails of Glacier with my family. My parents had a deep love for the outdoors and never missed a chance to pass that love on to me and my siblings. It wasn’t until much later in my life that I started looking past Glacier’s majesty to the efforts that went on behind the scenes to reflect on my own role in preserving this special place. My hope is that this collection of audio briefs will pique your curiosity on a variety of ecological, cultural, and historical topics, raise your awareness of some of the ongoing preservation and conservation efforts, and prompt you to reflect on your own impact on Glacier.
