When the Sperry Chalet dormitory building was lost to the Sprague Fire in August 2017, the Glacier National Park Conservancy established the Sperry Action Fund to help support the immediate needs and possible future needs for restoration of the complex.
Thanks to the generosity of donors like you, the Sperry Action Fund fully supported the initial request by Glacier National Park for the winter stabilization project.
Looking into 2018 and beyond, we anticipate additional requests from the park as site restoration continues, and we'll be ready to answer the call.
The Sperry Action Fund is in addition to the more than 50 projects and programs the park has requested funding for in the coming year, and your support, along with our partnership with the park allows for a quick response to unanticipated and urgent situations like this. When time is of the essence, private philanthropy allows us to react immediately to critical park needs.
All donations to this fund will be reserved for projects related to the Sperry Chalet complex.
